This is not brushless.
\nBut it depends if you care or not. and if you need a battery or not.

\nI got the 99 dollar battery 4ah sale where it came with a free tool. and got the brushless minichain saw as the free tool. Where in my opinion is the better deal.

\nBut to each their own. where if you have tons of battery and just want the tool, i say go for it.

\nas to the tool. I like it where my garden sheers are not cutting branches. I use my minisaw.

\nOnly downside is cleaning it where the chain will catch all the leaves in it. but i just hate cleaning so i use those computer aerosol cans after to blow away any small debris from the chain.

\nbut yea i had a peach tree.... that annoying peach tree my Parents wanted which became a headache for me where it caused bugs to camp there and them crows to pick at the peaches..... trees gone now with this mini chain saw lol

\nso it can cut branches, and even a 2 litter sized diameter tree trunk based off my experience.

\nas to other comments about the reciprocating saw, I agree with this also. As i mentioned before about my dang peach tree. I was using both. Where I was trimming branches with the Minisaw and my Dad was using the reciprocating saw to trim other side of tree.
