Wow, this version is stunning. Is there any doubt that Lou Gramm was one of rocks greatest male vocalists. Thanks for this gem.

Along with Steve Perry, Lou Gramm has the greatest voice in rock -n- roll. So proud that we both come from the same hometown. 🙂
Thanks for this post and yesterday’s.

Thanks for another Foreigner gem Paul! I so enjoyed yesterday’s post, but I’m delighted for today’s because of the instrumental and orchestral versions included on the 12-inch. I actually have goose bumps because of the way you archive these extended versions. I do have this on CD, but again, the extra versions remain hidden. You celebrate the full maxi-single and for that I am so touched. I really enjoyed reading the posts by the grateful fans of “I Want To Know What Love Is” too. I love the love that’s lavished on you Paul. You give us the love backRead more »

Paul, I am thrilled you re-ripped this jewel. The 12 inch version of ‘That Was Yesterday’ is my absolute favourite Foreigner remix. I love the original album version, but love the extended version even more. The extra verse sung by Lou Gramm in the intro was specially recorded for this 12 inch release. For the main audience a forgotten jewel, so great idea to give this beauty a new life. One shouldn’t overlook the 2 instrumentals on the B-side. Just awesome!

Thanks Paul, I am a happy man (again). Love this Foreigner series!
